It looks like I have a rough plan for racing this year. Took some time off last year and I am paying for it right now with 7-10 extra kilograms. But it looks like there is a new race Matterhorn Madness that I would like to do. Talked to the directors and they will be having a solo category. So probably around 30km of running with 1600m of climb. Then, if I get past the lottery, I would like to to the Superior Trails Fall Marathon. I did the 50km there last spring and the course is amazing. I attempted it a few years ago but ran into diabetes related technical difficulties that I hadn’t accounted for.
So the word of the year is hills, hills and more hills.
